The FNE-Formation, or National Employment Fund - Training, is a mechanism initiated by the French government to support companies in enhancing the skills of their employees, particularly during times of economic or technological change.
Its aim is to assist companies through major transitions, such as digital, ecological, food, and demographic transitions. It provides partial funding for training costs, enabling businesses to better adapt to changes while strengthening their workforce's skills.
For digital transition, it involves financing training aimed at implementing innovative strategic projects and digital transformations that require high technical expertise or specific know-how (integration of artificial intelligence solutions, digitalization of production methods, etc.).

The Procedures:
Applications for funding must be submitted by companies to competency operators (OPCOs). An initial discussion with an OPCO advisor is a prerequisite to prepare the funding request under FNE-Formation.
The company benefitting from the training aid must fill out and return a complete grant application file to the OPCO. The file mainly includes a subsidy request detailing how the proposed training fits into a digital transition support process.
The grant application file, to be obtained from the OPCO, contains:
An application form to fill out
An affidavit to complete
Supporting the file are the following required documents:
Accounting documents justifying the size of the concerned company (last fiscal year with staff count and annual turnover)
The training program
The nominal list of employees in training (name, surname, age, type of employment contract)
AI is no longer just an option; it's a necessity to stay competitive, and its importance will only grow. With OPCO support, training your employees in AI becomes both accessible and strategic. Why not discuss it now?
