The new ability of ChatGPT (advanced mode) to speak like a person is unsettling, and opens up new possibilities for learning and working. 

Google responds with a new free product, NotebookLM, which notably generates exceptional podcasts.

5 examples from the week:

1/ Practice selling by simulating a discussion with a potential client 

For paying users (Plus and Enterprise), it's now possible to converse in a much more natural way with ChatGPT. And it's unsettling. Ask ChatGPT to create the persona of your typical client, then converse with them directly.

2/ Use the advanced audio mode as a reading partner

This is my favorite use right now. Every evening, before sleeping, I read books on neuroscience, and it's sometimes overwhelming. So, I ask the new ChatGPT audio mode to answer my questions when I have them. My initial prompt: "I am reading [book title], and I will ask you questions. Stay silent by default."

3/ Discover how your LinkedIn profile is perceived by generating a fascinating podcast... about yourself

Google's note analysis tool, NotebookLM, AI-based, now transforms YouTube videos, audio files, URL links, long documents... into smart summaries. Once you've added one or more sources, transform your documents into AI-powered podcasts. 
Your challenge of the week: copy your LinkedIn link, create a free NotebookLM account, put the link in a new Notebook, then generate the podcast with "Audio Overview". A good ego boost :)

4/ Create sounds and effects for video editing

For marketers and creatives on your team, share with them ElevenLabs (and this newsletter at the same time 😁). The tool allows you to generate sound effects instantly and for free. I've experienced it many times: trying to find the perfect sound on sound effect libraries takes hours. Now, with a single prompt, I generate the perfect sounds for my videos. 

5/ Create a song for a colleague or a prospect

And finally, perhaps the most entertaining example of this week! Suno is an online tool that allows you to generate up to 10 music pieces for free each day. The music generated by Suno, since their latest update v3.5, is astounding, and very catchy. Two use cases to try: 1. Send a message to a prospect by generating a personalized song for them 2. For a colleague's birthday, create their song.
