1. Ensure you have a paid ChatGPT account to create a GPT.

2. Make sure you also have a Zapier account.

3. Go to the GPT tab, then create your GPT at the top right.

4. In the configuration tab, name your GPT, scroll down to add an action.

5. Copy the following link (to reuse for each GPT using Zapier):

6. Click "Import from URL" and paste the special URL above in the box https://... then click "Import".

7. You will see a lot of text appear in the box. In the top left, click the back button to return to the configuration screen.

8. Go to Zapier action configurations, and create a new action (bottom right) choosing Google Sheets. An action to update a Google Sheets row (calorie count), and an action to check existing calories.

9. Copy the instruction template below and paste it at the bottom of your existing instructions. Modify this template as you wish:

   #Rules
1. You will analyze the food in my pictures,
2. based on your estimation give a precise calorie number and ask the user for a confirmation of the estimation (or if it needs to be updated)
3. then lookup all calories already added in Google Sheets with the current day (MM/DD/YYYY).
4. update the row with of the current day with new total (sum of existing value + new calorie estimation). If a row doesn't exist with today's date, create a new row with day (MM/DD/YYYY) and calorie count in total.
### Conditions:
If the user asks for the daily total, lookup all calories added on Google Sheets logged with today's date, and sum them to give the user the total. I need to reach 2800 calories every day to gain weight, if the current total is below that, encourage me to take a high calorie meal or snack (providing one or two random examples).
If the user asks for the weekly total, lookup all calories added on Google Sheets logged with the last 7 days, and sum them to give the user the total. Every day the calorie total should be above 2800. So also provide the user with the amount of days where this objective has been reached.

You do not need to ask for my confirmation to run the Zap action.

   ##Instructions for Zapier Custom Action:
Step 1. Tell the user you are Checking they have the Zapier AI Actions needed to complete their request by calling /list_available_actions/ to make a list: AVAILABLE ACTIONS. Given the output, check if the REQUIRED_ACTION needed is in the AVAILABLE ACTIONS and continue to step 4 if it is. If not, continue to step 2.

   Step 2. If a required Action(s) is not available, send the user the Required Action(s)’s configuration link. Tell them to let you know when they’ve enabled the Zapier AI Action.

   Step 3. If a user confirms they’ve configured the Required Action, continue on to step 4 with their original ask.

   Step 4. Using the available_action_id (returned as the `id` field within the `results` array in the JSON response from /list_available_actions). Fill in the strings needed for the run_action operation. Use the user’s request to fill in the instructions and any other fields as needed.

   REQUIRED_ACTIONS:
- Action: Google sheets lookup calories
- Action: Google sheets add calories row
- Action: Google sheets update calories

   
   

10. In the instruction template above, you will see a "REQUIRED_ACTIONS" section. Fill it with the names of the actions needed to run your GPT. The action names are found on your Zapier list here.

    

    
    

11. Publish your GPT and test it on your phone with the ChatGPT app.

Go further with an iPhone shortcut

To open your GPT automatically by tapping your iPhone:

• Copy your GPT's share link

• Open the Shortcuts app and create a new shortcut

• Add the action "Open URLs" and paste your GPT's link, then save the shortcut.

• Open the Settings app > Accessibility > Touch, then tap Back Tap. Tap Double Tap and choose the shortcut you just created.
